Screensaver Painting
Sent in by Randy Watkins

Here is an oil painting of the Watkins Montgomery 15 on Lake Somerville, Texas. You can use it as a computer screen background or just enjoy. Artist: Greta Watkins, a Texas artist and owner of The Frame Gallery in Bryan, TX.

This is half-scale. Click on the image to see it full-scale (223 kb.)

Right click here to download a zip file of the .BMP version,
suitable as a screensaver or wallpaper (211 kb.)

Use "Save Target As" or "Save Link As".

Then What?

Windows: Images must be in .BMP format, as this is. Put the .BMP file into your \Windows directory. Open you display settings (Control Panel->Display, or faster, right click anywhere on your Desktop wallpaper and choose Properties), and choose m-15_painting as your wallpaper. Choose either Stretch or Center. Windows 95 and 98 vary slightly, but that's basically it. I don't want to go into setting up as a screensaver, but it's probably in your Windows Help, under "Screensaver".
